The first feature of our Meet the Sponsors week is Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd. Johnathan Wills, director, met with our Ladies captains after their historic League Final win.

Wills Bros, a family-owned, community-focused civil engineering firm based in Ireland and the UK, has grown to become a respected leader in its field and now employs more than 300 people.

They are a proud company who upholds family values, community ethos, and team spirit since they founded the company more than 40 years ago. Their UK directors, Jonathan Wills and Gary Curran, get to know each member of the team on a personal level, creating an inclusive, respectful, and caring working environment. This climate of respect extends through the company and into the communities they work in. Community is at the heart of their work, and everything Wills Bros does helps to enrich the communities they serve.

When speaking to Wills Bros they explained their reverence for the GAA:

“The GAA represents far more than just sport. It’s about family, inclusiveness, and respect. It brings communities together. For this reason, we are proud to sponsor the Glasgow Gaels Ladies football team, and to work together with them in promoting the community and family values that bind us”, commented Jonathan Wills

From the GAA’s mission and values “Ní neart go cur le chéile – there is no strength without working together”.

We are delighted as a club to continue to work with Wills Brothers and hope to continue to promote this community-based company in 2019. Opportunities to promote the Civil Engineering profession to young girls and women is particularly important to the Gaels and the company.
