Over 50 members of the Glasgow Gaels welcomed Robert Nesbitt from SAMH to speak to the club about mental health awareness. He comended the club for being welcoming and inclusive to many new members and challenged them to reach out even more. The attending members were issued with a feedback survey in which many indicated they had previously struggled with mental health–however being a part of a team and the wider club has helped them to talk about any arising issues.

Robert then spoke to the club about the importance of staring the intial conversation. Robert spoke to the club about recognising the community we were already a part of and to strengthen that community spirit. Club members were encouraged to reach out to others they may not know as well and to continue to promote inclusiveness.
